Good, basic Ready-made word press website packages?

Hi there,

I can see that there are a few out there but I have zero experience with them.

I have a friend that has not paid their go-daddy hosting and it has expired. What's worse is that they have no backups, nor the original content from the developer AND, since 30 days has passed, the data has been removed from their servers.

What a waste.

Can anyone recommend a decent basic wordpress related packages that are pretty much ready made websites?

Any help appreciated.

Pretty much any shared host will have a one click WordPress installer. Then download a free or paid theme. There's no real advantage of paying more for having WordPress preinstalled.

Have a look to see if any of the content is retrievable using 'the way back machine'

Vidahost or Asmallorange are decent hosts, and have 1 click installs of WordPress,

Then just go to Theme Forest and pick a theme you like. Simples.

It does seem that the ready-made/unpaid themes seem to be quite well trusted (sorry to me free used to mean unprofessional or clunky) so I'll give one a whirl.
