I need a phone for my mum as hers is dead. She only uses basic stuff like facebook...pics and the like. It must have a good battery though. I was looking at the Samsung A10 or the Huawei Y6 2019. Any experience with these? Or any recommendations?
Thanks

Here i go again,

This phone is all about battery life and for under £200 hard to beat and has one of the longest battery lifes out of all smartphones.

This phone is the moto g7 power and have looked at the price and costs around or close to the phones you mentioned which is the a10 and y6 2019.

Spend a bit more and get the moto g7 power, your mum will appreciate it.

The Moto G7 Power is £159 from John Lewis with a two year guarantee :)

Sounds like a done deal,

Anyways as i own the g7 power the battery life is very good and since she does not demand much from the phone, just get the moto g7 power, yea it has a 720p screen but i think that won't bother you or your mother as she is not demanding much but a decent battery life.

I would not be surprised if it lasted over 1 week on idle because i posted a picture showing over 4 days on idle on here.

I am confident she will not complain about the battery life of the moto g7 power, very confident.

If she does complain about the battery life well she would be hard pressed to find another phone like this or better, hard yeah regarding battery life.

If she uses the phone non stop expect it to last 14 to 15.5 hours screen on time from 100% charge down to around 5% easy which is most of the day.

Dan.

You might look at the Nokia 2.2. Mine's very new but it's done two days without charge and without engaging a battery saver. But I'm not a heavy user.

All of those phones are likely terrible. Stick with proper brands.

Well i thought of it like that, as i once owned a thick brick of a phone called the oukitel k10000, it was a bit meh, not all of the phones on that list would be terrible like the mi max 3 .

Anyways i still stick with recommending the g7 power under the 200 quid price bracket.

Though it doesn't have dual rear cameras like Motorola's current flagship, the Moto G7, the G7 Power has a monster battery. Its 5,000mAh battery lasted 23 hours and 10 minutes, making it the longest-lasting phone we tested this year so far.

All in all hard to beat for around £159 or under 200 quid regarding battery life and is a proper brand of a phone.

The Blackview BV9500 Pro might have all the elegance of a house brick, but that build quality is reassuring and the big battery will make sure you are never caught out when you really need a working phone. The Full HD display in 18:9 ratio is bright enough to be visible in full sunshine, while the Helio P23 CPU is enough to make Android Oreo look great on this generous 5.7-inch screen.
