Good basic tut for Imac- Mavericks

Wife just bought an IMAC 27" and although she has apple support is there a good forum or site anyone can recommend that provides basic tutorials around Maverick

At the moment Apple seems very orientated around making you go around the houses to do even the basic stuff for example applying a desktop picture or installing a piece of software

spent most a lot of time on the net just figuring out simple things like this.

Hmm, it's pretty simple. Right click any picture anywhere, and select 'set desktop picture'.

Or, right click the desktop background and select 'change desktop background'.

As for installing software, generally you drag an app into the apps folder. Couldn't be simpler really.
