Good book to learn C++ beginner....

Well I have just finished all my exams and I am wanting to learn how to programme in C++.However I have no programming experience what so ever.

What do you guys think is the best book I can buy to get me started?

A quick rainforest search leads me to believe I should buy this book

C++: A Beginner's Guide, Second Edition by Herbert Schildt

Any suggestions will be much appreciated

Accelerated C++ is the best beginner book from my experience. It's dense but if you are smart you will learn fastest from it.

C Programming (Macmillan Master). Is what we used back in the day in uni. Recommend it
