Good browser/low spec MP games?

Hi Guys,

A pal of mine want's to do some MP/Co-op online gaming. He's never tried it before.

His laptop isn't up to much so I suspect we're going to be limited to browser based or very low spec requirement games.

Anyone got any suggestions for good games we could give a try, preferably free to play? All types of game considered.

How low spec are we talking?

Source engine capable?

None of these are free, although you can pick them up for pennies now.

Sven Co-op (for original half-life... I guess it is free if you already own HL)
Warcraft 3/Frozen throne + various mods/maps
Neverwinter Nights
Guild Wars

Or maybe something like Minecraft or Terraria?

Any particular type of game you're after?

Frozen Synapse!

Utterly amazing tactical game with simple graphics, fits the bill yes I think it does.

Its also bogof.
