Im a bit lost at what youre trying to build there...

Why do you have a Watercooling Kit and Air cooler and a Radiator? That won't work..

A 360mm radiator won't fit in that case for one.

Even if it was to cool the GPU too, you need a waterblock and that still doesn't explain the air cooler..

Sorry mate, all wrong!

Whats your budget and what are you trying to build?

Just a quick look, you're watercooling your cpu aren't you? you have the block for it. Why the akasa cooler as well? Or is that for something else?

Ya the water cooling kit is for my sons the rad wasnt supposed to be in. Air Akasa is for mine.

Im building a pc that will be used for work and gaming in between should have left out the kit so just forget that. I also wanted a 1440p monitor for my bedroom and that was cheapest i could find so will be swapping it.

Cant really see anything wrong with the build this is what it should have been. ^_^

[edit] Dont have a set budget but not looking to go overboard either. It has to be able to edit movies and photos I was going to go with 3770k but after looking at a lot of reviews the 3570k is only 10-20% slower and once its clocked to 4.4ghz will be ok. I have just seen the 7850 overclock thread lol would that be a better choice over the 7950? seems you can oc it 30-45% which is tip top. ;D

Looks pretty good. The only thing i would suggest is a change of case. I had a antec 900 a few years ago and there is NO room to work with and very poor cable management. That pic shows it. Dust is also a major issue.

The cases i would recommend are the Corsair Carbide 500R or Cooler Master CM-690 II Lite Dominator for around your budget.

I assume in the future you'll be looking into watercooling? The cooler master case can fit 2 120x240 rads inside (one in top + bottom) which should be enough for a cpu and gpu loop.

Obviously the case might not be to your taste so its your call :) Regarding the 7850 overclocking, you are pretty much guaranteed a overclock but its literally pot luck if you get a good clocking card so if you play games then i'd advise a 7950, if not a 7850 with a bit of tweaking should be pretty good. Its a good card anyway but it depends on what in game settings E.G AA, res, texture quality you like to use.

Firstly, the DGM screen you specced is a budget make and many people on these forums have had problems with them. So on there advice, id go for the Hazro. It's not much more expensive but is a lot better quality. Still 1440 and 27" :)

Instead of the 7970,7950 or 7850 ive gone for the 7870XT (the XT is important). It's basically a 7950 with a bit of speed missing. Perfect for overclocking and 2 in Xfire (which the rig ive specced is setup for) will dominate most games easy.

Added an SSD for speed and loading. :)

Gone for a smaller/sleeker case and cooler.

The keyboard and mouse are very well reviewed and great quality for the money.

The Picture you posted of the 902 watercooled looked horrid...Seriously.

Thanks for all the suggestions I have settled for this build.

Also thanks for pointing out the reviews of the monitor i agree the one you chose is a lot better. Cheers guys, this will be the last i spend for a good few years now 2 weeks a grand total of about 5k lol.

I left out the ssd cos i have 3 corsair force 3 120gb and 3 corsair force gt 180gb sat in the draw gathering dust would i be able to set up a raid array using the 3 force 3 gt and 1 force 3? since it has 4 6gb/s ports or what can do with them ?

Thanks changed the RAM and Cooler. I hate XFX they have the worst RMA service out of them all. After the trouble i had with them last time over my XFX HD4870 I'll never use again. On the PSU side I prefer Corsair or Seasonic I would have gotten the TX750w v2 But the CX will do for my needs.

What is the difference between the two cases cant seem to find any "vs" reviews Have you used the CoolerMaster before? Definitely dont need ssd's got plenty dont really need a HDD either but i dont have any 2tb drives.

Will the hd7950 beat that 7870 i was specked?

cheers

7950 is the better card. The CX range are the cheap Corsair units (not even made by CWT like most of the units). I'd get an Antec or Silverstone PSU, I wouldnt trust a CX PSU to run x-fire, not even sure if it has enough connectors.

I will just bite the bullet and get the TX750 v2 cant go wrong with that one. I very much doubt ill go xfire with this one but you never know what the future will bring.

Many thanks to everyone for the help.

I have had a roccat isku myself and have had serveral problems with it concerning typing on online websites such as facebook. I have now switched to a qpad 85 i mean if your going to spend 70 quid on a keyboard just spend a bit more on a mechanical keyboard make sure you get a good one rather than just for the looks or the american trailer on their website lol

The modular version is the same price, and will help with cable management

Good find bud cheers much appreciated Everone keeps telling me not to go Corsair with PSU and go XFX but I really hate XFX and I hve never had a issue with Corsair.

I was running GTX 680 2GB SLI overclocked to 1245/1721 [email protected] 2x 1TB HDD 2x SSD With a Corsair TX 850w v2 and did Prime95 blend while looping heaven and ran smooth as butter for 6 hours Love Corsair or Seasonic ^-^
