Good but cheapish memo

Am upgrading my pc and am ever getting a Gigabyte GA-965P or Asus P5N-E SLI 650i mobo and i wanted to know whats good but cheapish ram to go with ever one of these mobos plus i might be overclocking when i learn how to do it

If you want something that is cheap and cheerful, just get the 2GB OcUK PC6400 kit, as thats only £60 +VAT.

I would imagine it would be good for a limited amount of clocking, but if you want a really good clock you have to spend more.

If you want to overclock, then look at OCZ and Crucial options. If your not too bothered about overclocking and benchmarking then get the OcUK stuff.

Has anybody actually tried an O/C with the Elixir PC2 6400? If so what kind of a result did you get?

thats a bargin hmm i might upgrade soon as i was waiting for the R600
