At the minute ive a 3d aurora and im pretty fed up of the cabling in it, im not one ofr cutting holes into the metal to thread cables though so around the atx power conector there seems to be a pretty thick concentration of cables nomatter what i do.

Was considering the Lian-Li PC V1000 PLUS midi tower, from the reviews ive seen they seem pretty tidy for cabling, any first hand feedback\pics welcome :)

i will let you know about the v1000, after monday, as i receive mine then

this isn't mine, but gives you an idea of where the cables could run

The V1000 series is reasonably good for airflow, i might tinker with mine again to try and get it better. If i remember i'll post a pick up or something.

Thing is, if the case has room for it to run the cables along the side of the case where the motherboard attaches then its pretty good...long as you keep the cables out of the way of the fans airflow your pretty much set to go.

Yes but you have tidy cables in a compartment where the only airflow is
the cpu fan blowing out the rear exhaust so a pointless excercise non?
If the v1000 had an intake just below the 3.5 bay it would be a great
design improvement.

Yep, thats why ive stuck a 90mm i the top 5 1/2" bays :P

Otherwise my passive northbridge gets a wee bit hot :/

This is the only case out of them lot posted above as to what I'd say as tidiest. Notice its been modded though - several holes near the motherboard with black rubber trimming around it for easy cable managment.
