Good case for good airflow / cooling

Well, i am thinking of getting a new case. I am coming round to the idea of having one with a bottom PSU compartment. Can someone please suggest a case that has one, has good airflow / cooling ability? Also, good at cable management too. As for budget, around £100 max is about right.

Oh, and it has to be black!! Thanks

Antec P182

About your budget, prettymuch black, bottom psu, very good cooling, excellent cable management. I have one and it's ace, plan to keep it until it falls to bits/forced upgrade.

I would gor for Antec 1200.

Antec 300 with 3 extra yate loon 2200rpm fans in it, excelent little case. Just fitted the 3 fans in mine today and it's not actually very loud.

Id go for the nzxt tempest, great case and brilliant airflow and cable management.

I like the 300 but what about cable management and PSU airflow? Is there a hole at the bottom to draw air into the PSU?

I have seen some nice Lian Li cases but the PSU area has no vent underneath where the PSU goes! Strange that as i thought it would be better to have an opening to the outside to draw fresh air into the psu?

300 is very moddable, have a look on the forums here. There's probably a way of pretty easily doing mods you want to better the cable management. Have a quick search.

Without air filter that would just vacuum dust into PSU.
And place is such that it's hard to put easy and fast to clean air filter in there.

What parts you were intending to put into that case?

So, a case with a bottom PSU doesn't have to have vents underneath it?

Parts in case: AM2 6400, 4G Ram, 9600 GT, 1 x 320g Hard Drive. 525W PSU

psu make? good psu's only actually need a few mm clearence off the bottom of the case, that way will give you good cable management in the antec 300. you can mount it with the fan facing up for better air exhaust but cables will all be on the side where you open it, still easy to hide most of them//

A tad more than £100 but the HAF 932 will fit your bill.

Great cable management, and if you want, you can fit a triple rad internally!

Superb case, great airflow, currently running a Q6600 at 3600Mhz and the Prime95 load temps are 56C!

Can't recommend it enough.

antec 1200 - on a strain test it was the best air cooled case cpu@90 GPU at 96, GC @ 76 and HDD @ 48 and it withstood 60 mins and no failure on any part.

Antec 300 looks nice but 2 things bother me:

1. No vents underneath PSU
2. Cable management could be a problem

Anyone think it would be worth cutting a hole in the case under the PSU and putting a grill there?

What about cable management? Is there room behind the Mobo tray to run cables if a hole was drilled in it?

Again, a big case. Too big for me.
