Good case for good money!!!

Hi,
Is there any cases out there that are good looking, built well, good at cooling and tool-less upto about £90? I know the CM 831 + 832 stackers are great but they're also massively expensive. Cheers

I have an Antec 900 now and i hate it. So would anoter Antec case be such a wise move?

If you like the looks you can't beat an Akasa Eclipse 62 at that price range.

Yes. The P182 is a quality case, the 900 is cheap.

Agree'd, I personally haven't got one, but I'm getting one for my new system! It's probably a good idea to get one this week, as they've dropped a tenner.

Those eclipse 62s are horrificly ugly

Eclipse - Slightly better cooling @ stock (P182 wins with careful cable and fan management), more space for watercooling... Slightly overhyped over recommended and everyone has one. Still a quality case.

P182 - Very quiet (stock fans loud on full though), crisp and cool looking suitable for living room ,better cable management, better HDD and optical storage; my own personal recommendation having owned and loved both.

Both will take an 8800GTX or lower, P182 requires no HDDs in top cage.

I hate it because:
Inhales dust as well as a Dyson
Gets scratched to bits
Fans are loud
It's not tidy
My side window doesn't fit properly
It's a right kerfuffle getting anything in or out of it.

Yeh that new Lian Li is gorgeous, would love one myself, just can't justify it.

I'd also give a huge thumbs up for the Eclipse, I have a variant of it myself, and its ideal for everything I need it for. It swallows up anything I need it to hold, and is a pleasure to build in. Its got a few negatives, but all cases do.

The PC7+ also holds it's value extremely well. I recently sold a boxed, near perfect one for £50+delivery, which is about 85% of the new price delivered. That is excellent for a case. Most of the other Lian Li's and the Eclipse will do about 65-70% and everything else is under 50%.
