Good, cheap, old PS3 games?

I got a PS3 the other day, and have been having a lot of fun on Pro Evo and Little Big Planet. However, whenever you buy a console a little way into its lifespan you have always missed something; what games have I missed that I can pick up cheaply now (already gonna get Resistance, MGS4 and Uncharted)? I have a PC, so will have played most of the games that have been released on both.

Any ideas?

Heavenly Sword

+1

Motorstorm, but the sequel is already out last week.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma.
Ratchet and Clank: Future Tools of Destruction.

tbh apart from what has been mentioned here already I cannot think of any decent exclusives that are older (disc based) and haven't been on PC. Can think of loads of PSN games though.

These can be had for a tenner second hand:
Ratchet and Clank
Heavenly sword

These cost a little more but still cheap, still well worth getting:
Wipeout HD (£11.99 on the PSN)
Warhawk

Cheap PSN minigames:
Super Stardust HD
Pixeljunk Monsters

Then there's the multiplatform ones:
Devil May Cry 4
Burnout Paradise

That should keep you going for a while.

Sure some cheap games (all under 20 if you shop around some are about 10)

Ratchet and Clank Future Tools of Destruction
Dark Sector
Motorstorm 1
Heavenly Sword
Siren (BD version)
Ninja Gaiden Sigma
The Darkness

Also plenty of PSN games, mostly between £10-15 some less, such as
Pixel junk monsters and eden
Wipeout HD
Super stardust HD
Ratchet and clank quest for booty
Tekken 5 DR

Just a few from memory hope it helps.

Awesome, think that I'll pick up Uncharted this week (sounds like my sort of game) and probably Resistance, MGS4 and Ninja Gaiden sometime soon too :) I'll have a look at Heavenly Sword and may get that as well!

Cheers for the help, keep the ideas coming!

Yep, I've done Oblivion pretty much as much as it can be done, so don't really want to go back there! GT games don't really appeal-I don't like racing games at the best of times, and unfortunately I enjoy "serious" racers (ie GT, Forza etc) least of the lot! Nearly picked up MGS4 at a supermarket today for £22, but think that I might get a second controller before splashing out more on games at that price-really trying not to spend more than £10 or £12 per game at the moment!

Gran Turismo 5: Prologue can be picked up for about £10-15 2nd hand if you search - totally worth it.

Sorry to disagree but GT5 Prologue is utter utter garbage, I had my PS3 a year now and quality PS3 must buys are very thin on the ground. So far the only titles I could whole heartedly reccomned are;
  • Wipeout HD
  • Uncharted
  • MGS4
  • Little big Planet

Thats it for me, pretty poor for a years ownership of a console. I suppose if you dont have a PC or Xbox there are lots more titles.

Well that's just a personal choice isn't it? Your meager stack of games will be dwarfed by someone with a stack of games they consider the best games ever.

Played through GTA and R6 Vegas 1 on my mate's Xbox, but Vegas 2 isn't a bad shout-seen that around at pretty good prices recently!
