some cores do more than others because your processor has to do background tasks as well as prime. they dont add up to much but over a long period of prime you will find a small difference in the number of tests done per core (with one core often being a lot lower than all the others)
as for the overclock its nothing mind blowing. generally you will find your processor hits a barrier where you need to add a lot of voltage to get any higher clock speed. if you can get 4.8Ghz or higher stable at 1.38V or lower then i will be impressed
