Good CO OP PC games with girlfriend

Hey guys,

My girlfriend has never been into gaming but recently she has been asking me to put something on the projector so we can play together, but I have been kind of stumped.

I have a steam link, two steam controllers and a huge projector connected to the link.

Any recommendations for some co op games with someone who has literally never played a game in her life? I don't think she will be able to handle a FPS game, was thinking L4D.

Pixel Junk Monsters, Overcooked, BurnStar and Jamestown are great controller co-op games.
 
Mount your friends... it's the only choice. Though the fun ends after about 5 mins.

Has she any experience in games at all? If so then borderlands series might not be a bad shot ( especially BL2/Pre sequel )

None at all mate, she's from Spain so spent most days on the beach. Borderlands could be good, quite slow and not too difficult. Thanks guys!
 
I thought the idea was that you play games untill you meet a girlfriend and then just spend your time rooting untill you get married then play games again lol

Certainly the way my lifes gone anyway!

I've come to terms with the fact that my perfect girlfriend is in a basement somewhere playing games thus il never meet her.

Lego games? Simple and surprisingly fun Especially the super heroes one (can be got for about £4), has missions and a big city area to explore. Lego worlds too.
 
If she ever gets a PC of her own, then GTAV. Ride cars together, fly choppers and planes together, relax in your yacht's hot tub lol. There is fps but also a lot of non-fps stuff, missions and heists to do together, car/stunt races. And the experience is superb with controller.

If the idea of a unicorn mount and pet hideous eyeball don't appeal to her... I dunno what will :D

Just... be aware it takes a bit of understanding and reading the wiki to know what you need to be working towards next (or picking up on various "subtle" hints when you talk to the guide NPC. - As a first tip though, get tooled up with 3rd tier metal armour make a clock/watch and after midnight, smash 2 orbs in the corrupt/blood area. Watch for "a meteorite has landed!". Do another orb if you get non but prepare to die :D go find + mine the meteor, make armour + spacegun)
