Good COD 4 servers?

Hi there.

When the COD 4 demo hit the internet I downloaded it like everyone else but found that I disliked it quite a bit. I am not sure on why but I just found it boring.

but....

After hearing nothing but praise for this game I decided to bite the bullet and go out to buy it. I am glad I did as it was simply amazing and had some pretty cool missions, like the gunship and sniper mission

It took me ~6 hours of constant play on the second hardest setting so was rather short.

After downloading the 1.5 patch I jumped into multiplayer, and it seems amazing so far. Its sort of like Battlefield 2 but with no vehicles, smaller maps and a better shooting system.

Anyway, I am rambling... can anyone tell me some decent COD 4 servers to check out? Also, can anyone give me any tips?

I'm sorry, but I am not trawling through a thread of that size to try to find decent servers to play on.

I had a quick look at the last 4-5 pages and found nothing of use.

If you like Team Deathmatch then the 40-50man XG servers are good, as is a server called LAKES WAR.

depends on skill and preference of game type.

all depends on game types you like, personally i like tdm, dom and sd

I find hardcore is 100x more rewarding.

Try the [MoX] server, a nice friendly 18+ clan

Another question. How do I change fire mode on weapons? Like single shot, 3 burst etc etc

i dont think you can, just the m16 has burst, but i could be wrong

Yup, M16 is 3 burst, G3 and another that eludes me are single shot, all other rifles are full auto.

edit, it might be the M14 I'm thinking of ^^
