good compact camera?

Anything better than the Fuji F31D yet out there? Looking for a camera to fit in my pocket, decent zoom and wide angle and decent pictures out of it would be nice.

Any ideas?

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX55 for around £150

Panasonic make the electronics for Leica cameras and Leica make the lenses for the Panasonic cameras, so effectively they're one and the same.

the FX55 is pretty much the Leica CLUX 2, which costs over £300. Have a gander on some review sites, I plan on buying one when the old student loan comes through.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 is one that im thinking of getting as a compact.

10x Optical Zoom, 28-280mm f4.6, 7.2mp.

Its around £160-170.
