Good CPU temp monitor for Vista 64 ?

I downloaded TAT at it doesn't seem to work, is there anything else i can try ?

Not too keen on Speedfan to be honest, all i want to do is check the CPU temp on my new build.

I use Everest personally, with a Vista sidebar gadget (the one in the middle).

Isnt there a sidebar for vista option built into Everest (ultimate)? Go File->Preferences, then on the hardware monitoring node, open that up then click the Vista Sidebar. Enable that. Then right click your side bar, add gadget and you should see it in the available list. I dont think I ever installed any other gadget to get everest to show up there.

Yeah there is, didn't really like it however, prefered the other one since the other gadgets that I use are made by the same people so it keeps it all looking similar instead of a rainbow sidebar

im trying to add it so it shows up as a gadget, but ive followed you commands there but no option to add it as a gadget whe ni right click

SpeedFan works with Vista as far as I know - it's good, free and reliable. I use it on my celeron 360 and it seems reliable enough
