I understand most of CSS, except layout using purely CSS. Does anyone have a link to a simpleton guide? I'm used to working with tables and so the box modle is a little different for me and seemingly unpredictable...Because i'm not clued up. Thanks!

It also has some free downloadable templates that might be useful, I find I learn quicker by working from an example. You can look at the stylesheet and play around with it and see what everything does.

My CSS knowledge is all self-taught.
I began by reading W3C schools, although that got a little bit boring after some time. So I moved on to downloading simple templates (the Andreas template) from OSWD. I hacked them up and rebuilt them and that's where I gained most of my knowledge. The rest has come from experimentation and reading through articles such as A-List apart and .. dissecting other CSS sites that I liked.
