Good deal?

Hey guys, a friend of mine has offered me a deal on some Corsair kit all boxed and brand new - the 520W PSU and 2GB (2x1GB) Corsair TwinX XMS2 PC6400 RAM (he says the timings are 4-4-4-12) for £165. Is that a good deal?

I've had a look on OCUK but I can't seem to find that corsair RAM. The PSU seems to go for £65-70, so is around 95-100 a good price for the RAM?

Yeah that's a good deal. Make sure the ram passes memtest though. Hes not the kinda guy who'd offload something faulty onto you though, I presume

See if he can give you reciepts or something incase you need to RMA

Ah, it is on their site. Yep, that's the RAM. And they're all factory-sealed. He found an offer on the net for that price, knew I'm in the middle of buying parts, and got one in. He would have sold it on if I didn't want it.

But now I've saved myself around £60
