A friend of mine has offered me his PC for £400 and I was wondering if you guise think it's worth it:

Mobo: Abit IP35 Pro
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHZ (overclocked to 2.7GHz)
CPU Heatsink: Thermalright Ultra-90 Heatsink
CPU Fan: Scythe Kama PWM 92mm Fan - 4-Pin PWM
Memory: Corsair Dominator 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 XMS2 PC2-8500C5 TwinX Dual Channel
Graphics: Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4670 Ultimate "Passive" 512MB GDDR3 TV-Out/DVI/HDMI (PCI-Express)
HDD: Segate 500Gb
Case: Lian Li PC-A05B Aluminium Midi-Tower
PSU: Enermax Modular 620W Power Supply

All in very good condition and with boxes for everything.

Good deal?

I'd sell the the graphics card either on fleabay or the members market here (and possibly replace with a 5830 when it's rolled out) and likewise the Lian Li case (already have a LIAN LI PC-7B plus II)

What do you think they would fetch?

Thanks

Sounds like a pretty reasonable price to me, having spent quite a bit of time browsing for components recently I doubt you could build that system for much less even buying everything 2nd hand.

Thanks for the feedback.

It turns out he wants to hang on to the graphics card, so it'll be £370 instead.
That just leaves the case to shift.

where is the members market guys?

You only see it when you have access to it.

You need 250 posts, or to have been a member for a year. So get up to 250 posts, or wait till april :)

Don't mass post/double post/spam though, because you'll get blocked.

Back to the OP, for the money that does seem like a good deal, with or without the 4670!
I'd expect around £40+ for the case if you were to sell it, possibly more (I don't really keep up with case prices).
