Good DS games

Managed to get a DS for 35 quid.
Any good games you'd recommend I play?

Go to metacritic. Start at the top and work down the list, skipping games from genres you don't like.

You'll not go far wrong that way.

New Super Mario is a must - check out the DS Wars series if you like strategy type games.
Pokemon (!) isn't a bad game either.

However, I'd stay off Super Mario DS (the reworked N64 version) - it just didn't work for me , it's basically unplayable without the analogue controls.

Theres loads of other good games though but the above had the most wow factor for me.

Mario Bros, Mario Kart, Advance Wars and Zelda are the must have titles IMHO.
