When is there a limit to good faith? you order something its been paid for, it goes way past its release date

1 week you think oh its just late

2 weeks ok maybe somethings wrong

3 weeks you get alittle worried

4 weeks you start to think this is taking the mick

5 weeks it should be here soon (but by this point you think WILL they ever get it)

I know people would says its not their fault its their suppliers, ok I agree things don't always run smoothly, its seems the ETA date system is like me picking winning the lottery numbers the chance may be that one day it will be wright but it never happens,

to take someones money and then basically just lead them on from week to week with no new concrete information is getting old.

Amazon did this to me, they just cancelled my order weeks afterwards once they realised they couldn't fulfil the order.

MW

I would say two weeks at most and if I haven't received an update as to what the problem is (if there is any) I would just cancel the order as they shouldn't have accepted an order they couldn't fulfill within a reasonable time frame.

Im holding out for another week i dont want to buy anywhere else than from ocers, as i have had good service in the past but in the same token i will if i have to

If I order anything from here, if it is still in the warehouse 2 days later or order is still being processed, I`m straight on to CS and get it sorted.
The same thing with any other company, if not received goods in one week, query the order, if not satisfied, cancel said order.

i ordered a whole new comp 2 pieces were pre order, mobo and ram its now been a month since the pre orders ETA has passed they have the ram but not the mobo,

Then that is probably why you have not received it. You could ask them to send you the rest of the parts and forward the mobo when it comes in. But the rest of the parts are not much use without the mobo.
Are you waiting for the Asus Rampage IV Extreme Black Edition Intel X79 by any chance?

Yes but since my whole new system is moving to the x79 no point in me getting the cpu and the rest if i cant use it lol

Looking around the net, no one has that mobo in stock, so until Asus release it, there is nothing OCUK can do.
You are just going to have to wait it out.

Thats not how preorder works here afaik.

Correct. The only time I've known it be any different was for the 290x bf4 edition preorder.

Unfortunately the one and only reason I'll never pre order from ocuk, even though its easily refundable I don't like the idea of laying down a large sum of cash up front.
