Good file recovery software that is free please ??

can someone give me a link to a good file recovery program? my friend has deleted all his holiday pictures and needs something to get them back off the Memory card

I've had great success with Undelete Plus - it's free as well.

Recuva is pretty good (same guys as CCleaner) http://www.recuva.com/

Recuva - free and does an excellent job, has a deep scan mode as well which managed to find some images from the stock install my laptop came with (this was after a wipe and a reformat followed by a reinstall).
