hi i was thinking of buying a few pc games (ghost recon 2, BF2 etc) this is my pc spec

AMD ATHLON 64 3200+ CPU
ASUS A8R-MVP MOBO
ASUS EAX1300PRO GRAPHICS CARD
corsair 1GB RAM

i think i can buy another gpu (same one obviousily) and put it in my board and connect the EZ_PLUG so they can work together cant i???

thanks in advance for any help :D

what res will you be gaming at?

how many mb's is your gpu? although depending on what settings you wish to play those games at you may find a) they cannot run whatsoever or b) you have to play them on the lowest settings possible.

if you google the games it should state the minimum specs required for each game ;)

personally i would save for a better card

couldnt i just buy another of the same card and have them working together???

for the price of 2X X1300 pro`s you may as well buy 1 X1800XT £149.17inc vat, its only £40 more for 3 times the ammount of graphical power if compaired to the total available 3dmarks of 2 x X1300pro`s. also i would doubt you could crossfire two X1300 cards as i dont think there is a crossfire master card for the X1300 range, also i would question the sanity of anyone who did this with 2X X1300 cards anyway.

as for your choice of CPU, add an Extra £7 and get the 3700 san diego core, its a far better chip for just a couple of pounds extra. dont skimp on CPU`s when they are this cheap ;)

i have already brought all the kit all im asking is could i play up-to-date games with this spec??

sooo... that wasnt a spec your going to buy, but your current spec ? which you have listed in your sig anyway? and your asking a graphics card question in the general section ???

you people bemuse me

yes you can play up to date games with it, no you wont get a good ammount of quality, yes your gonna struggle if you want any eye candy, i.e. AA/AF but for straight, low to medium quality gaming on current titles, youl be ok..
