Good Formal Restaurant around Trafalgar/Covent garden etc

Evening,

Just want to ask if anyone knows of any good, formal steak restaurants in the above areas in London?

ATM the ones I have been looking at are Goodman's and Gaucho Grill, but they're not that formal.

Looking to take the gf out for a meal for valentines day, so want it to be nice

Obviously goodmans and gaucho are quite pricey, so i don't mind paying that sort of money for something decent!

I would suggest Hawksmoor, not very formal but cracking food!

Looks great! I would love a 500g chateaubriand

May end up going there, if no one has any formal suggestions, but for now... still looking for formal!

Clos Maggiore, L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon, Brasserie Max, The Forge, Le Deuxieme.

Give those a look up. All in covent garden.

A lot of the posh nosh restaurants will be booked out or getting booked so you better hurry!
