Good free video editing software?

Hi all.

I'm looking for a good, and free, video editing program to download. It doesn't need to be fancy, no need for animations or anything at this stage, but I want a good quality video to come out of the other end.

I'm running Windows 7.

Windows Movie Maker? It's part of the Essentials pack.

Opted for Sony Vegas instead. Needed a little help on the audio.
