What full tower cases would you recommend for a new wc system build? Do they make cases specifically for wc in mind or do you have to just figure that all out afterwards where it all gets put?

I didn't want to spend a great deal on a case, maybe £70 tops.

Thanks,

John

Hi they do make cases specially for water cooling but i doubt for sub £100. Something like a Antex 300 maybe with a rad hung out the back (not checked price but off the top of my head there very cheap) Or a mid tower lian-li may take a rad in the roof for around £75.

Yah i guess any case with a read 120mm fan can be used to watercool. If the case has no holes in the back for tubing you can buy PCI slot pass through adapters which do the same job.

Limited scope I suspect. Commercial watercooling sets you back a couple of hundred easily, and anyone willing to make their own system will probably make/butcher the case themselves anyway.

I sugggest the akasa omega. It wont be 70 quid new, but there's a fair chance you could pick one up second hand. Its built like a rock, second hand will be fine. With no modding whatsoever it'll hold a 240 and two 120 radiators, and that leaves you with the door free to mount other things to if you like.
Eclipse or mirage are the same chassis, but you'll have to cut a hole in the top yourself.

if you introduce machining parts of it yourself, almost any box will do
