Good games for laptops?

As above really, looking for some games to put on my laptop.

Not so much from a spec perspective (C2D 2.13Ghz, 4gb RAM and Radeon HD 4670) - only really demanding games are unplayable, more from a control perspective.

Playing FPSs with an external mouse on my coffee table isnt very comfortable, so after something that lends itself to laptop use without being too "casual".

Been playing TrackMania United as it's pretty adictive and only needs the arrow keys, so that sort of thing is good. Can't stand RPGs and never really got into strategy games before...

So, any suggestions?

thats what ive got on mine. old school games, but their the best games imo.

NBA 2K10 if you have a pad
L4D2 easy enough if you up sensitivity

World of Goo is pretty fun.

Trackmania is fun, especially if you go online and play all the custom tracks.

Some good suggestions, a lot I hadn't heard of so will look into them!

Completely forgot all the point and click adventures, I remember playing day of the tentacle and the original discworld games when I was young
