looking for a good gaming keyboard for myself, my standard logitech keyboard is on its way out and i game quite a bit now and its useless at it.

i haven't really got a price range, but i think that the G19 is OVERPRICED, so not over the £100 mark i suppose.

idk about the size, i just want it to be comfortable & illuminated keys would be a god send (the light does not work in the room my PC is in (something wrong with the cable along the line and im too lazy to fix it:))

i was looking at some of the razor gaming keyboards, but i dont know what one maybe better out of them?

Thanks for your help.

+1 for G15

V1 or V2 would do, V2 is a nicer shape, V1 has bloo lights and more macro buttons.

What I did notice however is that in less than a year of relatively heavy use, constant gaming, there was a patch on the silver of the v1 where the silver paint had rubbed off. Not had this with v2. Oh and v2 is FAR more postal friendly lol, v1 came in a monstrous size box.

The logitech brand also gets a +1 due to the ease of their RMA process, no faffing about sending potentially huge items back. MY g15 died and they replaced that straight away, my mx1000 stopped functioning correctly and they replaced that after I showed them pics of a mutilated Mx1000.

OPlease not I've not used any of the other main gaming offerings from otehr companies.

Logitech Illuminated Keyboard :)

I have one, it's perfect.

+1

Again another vote for both this keyboard (it is awesome!) and Logitech support sent me one in 2 days after a couple of keys started sticking on it (just required pic with a code they emailed me)

Wasn't expecting that and a mate now uses the old one and puts up with a sticky tab and caps lock which i never could do (play far too much CSS on standard binds :D)

Ive had an Apple keyboard for comming on 6 years, the thing is built to last. imho best keyboard money can buy. My lil bro just got a new gaming rig, recommend he got the apple keyboard, its the newest one, different to mine. Its more like a laptopkeyboard, but has a nice metal finish.

I've gone for the Saitek Eclipse 2 - best keyboard I've owned for gaming by far.

Had lots of different Logitech, Microsoft etc and this is great!

I used one of these myself for over a year but you can't push more than 2 buttons at once, which makes it pretty bad for games like COD2 where you sometimes have to crouch/hold breath and lean at the same time ;)

trust me, look in to the logitech illuminated keyboard ;)

Razer Lycosa/Tarrantula i personally love the Lycosa (wat i have atm) but atrrantula does the same job!

Same here me and my friend have the Lycosa it's the best gaming keyboard and so nice to type on with the rubber keys and short distance key presses.

ye love the rubber feels very nice, only gripe is the touch buttons on the topright of the lycosa, mines tuck on the on position all the time :D but it rly doesnt bother me
