As you may all know, the Homehub is one of the worst things anyone could have, so could anyone tell me the best gaming router for under £50? It must have 4 ethernet ports, be for BT lines (if you hadn't guessed :p)and must be wireless, N if possible :)

I've tried all sorts with the hub, but there is no way the NAT's changing, and mine won't accept me using the DMZ, or Port forwarding. This seems like the place to ask, so, fire away! :D

edit:

I came across this, and it seems good enough for me :). The router must NOT only be ADSL2, or 2+ as it won't work on my line (either that, or I can't get it to :D)

I used to have the Wag200g, and that sort of put me off the Linksys routers as it was unstable, and really badly unstable. Do you find that with your router, And is it lovely and OPEN on the NAT? :)

What's the problem matey, I know the hub can be a pita but I'm sure you can get it up and running...let me know and I'll assist!

I've gave up tbh, on the PS3, the NAT is constantly strict, same as the 360, yet the 360 says Moderate for some reason.

Its really starting to annoy me :)

Mind, the old hub is constantly on, and rarely drops connection!

I built a Fedora 14 router and paired with a Linksys AM200 ADSL modem in bridge mode it dropped my pings to the lowest I have ever seen. I works fine with the PS3 too, never any issues and I can hammer the line with torrents using transmission and still play FPS games etc!
