Good ISP

Has anyone got any recommendations for an ISP or internet package. We download a lot here (go over 100gb a month quite easily), as the broadband is used for business and gaming, -Dad works, I play. Needs to be as cheap as possible with download speeds of at least 6mbit/s. With BT currently.

Has anyone got any recommendations for a package?

I've read the Samknows broadband page, and using their exchange checker, and I can use any of the main providers, BT, Orange, Sky, Tiscali to name a few.

I was tempted to order BE broadband, but It says that it will take time to connect it up to the exchange - does this mean that I'd be without internet for a while?

I use Sky Unlimited pakage, get up to 20Mb. Great speeds never had an outage and no complaints from sky about the amount I'm downloading ( which is a lot) cost me £10 per month as part of a tv and phone line package

My BE* was live within 5 days of my order.... no different to any other isp really.
