After playing kompendium with gf (which is pretty brilliant if you like weird af competitive indy style) we are looking for more local two player games.

I quite enjoy playing the Lego games with my son, they are a laugh and quite cheap to buy when on offer.

we have most of them except harry potter (not a film we have watched)

haha yes! lego games.

Yeah i'm thinking local/splitscreen. both competitive or co-op

Kompendium is very baffling - yes. She introduced me to it - Exuberant struggle is good (collect icons to charge weapons then when fired your pool changes to a different one) - Ora et Labora (character charges when on a tile which performs an action).. some of the others we havent worked out yet. Glitch tank made me smile coming from the audio world, its like a circuit-bent dos game. I dont know what to do yet in that one.

I'll have to get another X360 controller for overcooked & lego games. She really likes strategy over reflexes. (likes to win more like) har har

Terraria. Can either local through steam (although technically it's still online) or use Tshock, great little tool I've used with cronies.

TorchlightII. Great game, also loads of mods available.

Grim Dawn. Think Torchlight, but much newer/larger.

Local co-op on the PC is unfortunately quite rare. Here are the games I have that support local co-op aside from lego games:

Serious Sam 3
Painkiller Hell & Damnation
Resident Evil 6
Bionic Commando: Rearmed
Broforce
Rayman Origins
