As title really. I've got a 2008 Fiesta ST with Ford lockers and I'm losing faith in how long the key will last.

Are there any recommended locking nuts with super strong keys which will take some abuse which you guys recommend?

That was exactly my thought.

And then I had another one. They can still undo ALL of the wheel bolts... :(

I'll have a dig around about those marshallman, thanks for the heads up!

Ouch, quite an unfortunate bill! I had 3 pin locker keys die on a Corsa Sport I had some years ago, luckily a local garage got them off for 20 quid but it isn't a pleasant experience.

I've had a quick browse at TPI stuff. Which style of key would you assume is strongest?

Ta for the info. My current ones are similar to the second type but I guess it must be down to the key material as they now jump a bit when you put some pressure on.

If those TPI ones are the bomb then I shall order some tonight :)

Anything made by TPI... Cold forged steel for both bolt and key! Swapped my Ford ones over when they key chewed after 4 uses ;)

Ended up getting some of these for £20 delivered which seemed good value, they're the ones for OEM ford wheels so all good, the key looks like it may well actually last! Ta for the recommendation :)

As it says, I've bought some! lol.

Not to stop the wheels getting nicked but it's a bit more hope in case of anyone being spiteful enough to losen all of your bolts. I know one may not make a massive difference but who knows ;)
