Good modem/router or router for fibre with good wireless coverage

Hi

We had Plusnet fibre installed a few weeks ago and our current setup (BT modem and TP-Link W8960N) is perfectly fine for wired connections but the wireless range is pretty bad. The most we can get wirelessly is a 2.5mb/s and we've had upto 8.4mb/s via wired connections.

Can anybody recommend a VDSL compatible modem/router or router that has good wireless coverage for less than £100?

Stick with the standard modem, little reason to change it and it'll just cost you more money to do so.
