Hi guys, I bought my PC around a year ago (specs at the bottom) and have been using a pretty crappy monitor since I bought it, it's an old packard bell 16:10 19'' monitor that suffers from bad screen tearing on anything above 50fps, the native resolution isn't too bad (1440x900) but i'd much prefer full 1080p.
Can any of you guys recommend a monitor for up to £200 thats good picture quality wise and doesn't produce constant screen tearing? Because when I enable Vsync I get really bad input lag and the framerate usually drops substantially. Also how do you think my PC will hold up over the coming years now that the next gen games are on the horizon? If you think I should upgrade what would you recommend? Replies greatly appreciated.
