I realize by the title of this thread that technically one usually goes for gaming or designing by itself as they require slightly different things but I wanted to see if you guys can recommend some monitors that would suit my needs that do both in a decent way.
Being a designer I need colour accuracy and screen real-estate for all those windows I have open (which makes me think 4k). My usual setup is to have my macbook pro plugged into my main PC monitor while I work.
Come evening I power up my pc (running a 980ti) and do some gaming. So ideally if it can be something half decent for games too, that would be pretty good. My worry would be that at 4k, I'd suffer frame drops due to the extra pixels so perhaps 1440p is the way forward?
Budget would be around 600 ideally. Could do more, but would prefer not to
