Hi all,
Our Epson Stylus Color 640 finally died after about 12 years of use, and we're looking to finally upgrade it.
Now our main priorities are scanning/copying, wireless networking, printing good quality B&W documents and occasional decent colour photo, and cost effective. Now i've heard that laser printers are the way to go for economic sense, however I did a bit of researching and found that replacing the toner alone can cost upwards of £60-80, which is definitely not what I had in mind. I may as well get a new printer for that!
So I had a look at some inkjets and the Epson Workforce 600 has caught my eye. It's gotten some very decent reviews, and has all the features I outlined plus more. However, at £110 and being a huge printer itself, i'm wondering if I really need something so "hardcore" for want of a better term.
As I said, my main specifications are wireless networking, scan/copy, good printing quality and around £80 for the printer. So does anyone have any suggestions on models?
