Hi Chaps, i am planning on getting a new system put together next week (while visiting the UK) and have read that the Abit IN9 Max 32 board gets pretty hot around the North Bridge (and even South Bridge)... Since i am putting a water cooled system together, i would really appreciate any advice on a good N/B waterblock that will go on this board without any hassle... also, any suggestions on HSF to replace what looks to be an integrated cooling system on that board via heatpipes (as i am assuming the whole 3-part heatpipe thing will have to go from the board to use NB waterblock, leaving the South bridge and whetever that other stack of copper is for bare of any cooling)..

Thanks for any help,

Andy

Hiya paul_64l, thanks for your suggestion.. I was looking at the Apogee GTX CPU waterblock so it would be nice to have a matching(ish) chipset block too ;)

It says on the description on the overclockers.co.uk catalogue that is supports all Asus Mobo but you're sure it will slip onto the IN9 Max32 ok?

Also, what's the deal with the south bridge etc once i take off that big'ol 3 part heat pipe thingy Abit have on there? Some kind of Zalman thing or something in its place on each part?

Cheers

Andy
