Not all heroes wear capes and thankfully not all people are bumholes.

John Barlow said he spotted the Audi going slowly in the outside lane of the M62 near Leeds on Saturday. The driver was slumped with a bloodied face.

Mr Barlow managed to get his car ahead of the Audi and eased it to a stop before getting out to help the man.

How many people would have done the same with their freshly detailed cars? :P

Shame we dont see more stories like this, I guess positivity doesn't sell as much as doom and gloom eh...

It's a nicer ending than the last vaguely similar story I remember when a driver had suffered a diabetic hyper and therefore appeared drunk so someone gave him a beating on the hard shoulder believing they were drink driving.

"John Barlow said he spotted the Audi going slowly in the outside lane of the M62..."

Instant red flag there for an Audi, especially if he wasn't aggressively tailgating a Nissan Micra.
Legend

I'm amazed the news posted the story, nowadays they just seem to want clickbatey drama about people's opinions on something that might or might not happen and the extreme ramifications if this persons opinion comes to light!

Good on that guy and the others involved, great to see someone actively being a positive value on this world.

I read this story the other day.

The driver who was ill was both lucky and unlucky.

I'm glad he managed to recover.

If you see something like this and purposely not do anything then you're on the psychopathic scale.
