Just upgraded from a ye olde BFG 8800gtx oc to a new asus 6950 rev 1, flashed it to the 6970 and its showing up fine I think

Really impressed with the performance increase.

How can you tell if it's a rev.1 card?

It says at the top of the description that its rev 1, it also has a switch to change to the other bios if your flash fails.

Shame its £24 more but i didnt want to take the risk.

Understandable, it is a big risk... would be horrendous to brick a brand new 200 quid worth of GFX card. On that note I think I'll probably leave it at 6950... unless I find a switch, then I may be tempted lol

Congrats though, do you have a shot of GPU-Z before the bios change for comparison?
