I have built my first pc today! Big thanks to anyone that has helped or suggested components on the way, everyone on here seems to be very helpful and I am grateful of that :)

One small niggle though, are ethe inbuilt graphics usually unable to handle Windows Aero? I don't really like Windows Basic and want to change the toolbar colour, any help please!

My built in graphics were fine with aero, on both a celeron G530 and i5 3570k, did you install the drivers or just let windows sort it out?

Install the Intel driver and then run the Windows Experience Index test, if the GPU driver install doesn't activate Aero itself

Also, pics, so we can be critical of your cable management (I kid) :D

And I am just installing the drivers now, should be fine. Thanks for the replies guys. By the way is light gaming possible on in built?

GTA IV, low/medium settings at around 30fps, but that's a bad game to be playing with any hardware, even with a hd 7850, on mostly high settings I'm still under 60fps!

Also played DiRT 3, that ran fine with the settings turned down a bit.

You could play skyrim tbh, I tried it out when switching between gpus

it wasnt smooth, probably around 15fps at lowest settings at 1080p, if you lower the resolution it should play it alright. not worth it though

Just played Wizadary Online (Free to play) looked really nice, graphics looked sharp, gameplay not too bad a little juttery. Won't be playing much till I get the 7850 just wanted to test the PC's capabilitys ..
