anyone else seen this yet?
saw it this evening, was really really good, didnt know what to expect except that it was about the macarthy trials

some really technically cool bits as well as some really good acting and storyline

interested to see how true to the real story it is

I'd booked tickets to see it last week but completely forgot and missed it. Meh, only £6. I'm still determined to catch it though.

I thought it was a fabulous film, with some awesome performances all round and second only to Crash as my film of the year. :)

Brilliant film. Well acted all round and kept my attention even without it ever breaking pace at a particular moment. Clooney definitely has a flair for directing and I think the cinematographer should have won this years oscar. Don't the people in the academy realise that black and white is much harder to light than colour film.

was it out too late for the oscars? not sure when the american release was

No  Clooney got Best Supporting Actor. I'm annoyed because this, Capote and Syriana dont seem to be on general release over here - none of them are on/will be on at our local Odeon

hmmm, having checked out the oscar nominations, i was blatantly wrong, but i cant believe it didnt win anything, was nominated for a lot, guess there's just strong competition this year
