Seems a little draconian to be honest, not allowing member to belong to whatever forums they wish to seems a bit ott.

As for duplicate accounts, what happens if two people live in the same house (hence same ip) and wish to be members?

Then the mods will discuss it amongst themselves.

My cousin used to post on here and also occasionally logged in when he was round my house, and the duplicate IP issue appeared. Mods didn't auto ban us or anything, they investigated first and everything was fine. :)

Well SPW didn't explain it the best tbh, there was a so called hate site set up by some disgruntled ex members, the site was spammed to members on here who signed up and had a good old moan about OcUK.

Now, that would have been fine but they were slagging off OcUK on one site and coming in here and being all chirpy, happy OcUK members.
 
It depends on who you email, most never email back, which is nice.... but some do.

The worst ones are the ones where you're suspended but the description of the suspension reason is so vague it makes vaguebooking look good :/

Then that site spawned another site which wasn't really anything to do with slagging off ocuk but happened to have some of the same members and if iirc it was posting there that got me and the others banned.

There were 2 or 3 at one point, they were all slagging off OcUK, I know because I was a member of all of them.

I always aim to provide as much info as possible whenever I hit the ban button, although I try to sort things out in a reasonable manner - infractions, email etc.

I never slagged this place off though :)

I only ever signed up to continue arguments with people that were banned from here :D
