This gonna come across as odd but I'll start by explaining my issue, I have 3 pc's although it never started out this way grrrrr

one amd pc that plays CS without any issue

one intel C2D E6400 on an asus P5WDH mainboard

one intel C2D E6750 on an asus blitz formula mainboard

the issues are with the intel systems, cs works but appears fine yet I feel like I'm being held back(like a screen delay in shooting or moving) so I'm wondering is it a steam/CS issue or an intel one as both pc's have *** same problem yet the amd based system is fine. all PC's have decent ram & gfx cards & have decent branded psu's.

Please help its doing my head in as I want a pc that plays all my games not just some :(

Thanx

Kev!

fps is not the issue at all plus its on a tft, 2 intel system & cs/cz is only affected setting it to fps max will create tearing & also does not sort the issue.

all games work fine on the amd I just want rid of my amd system as its getting old

dirty Pete adding to my post :D

display properties-settings-advanced... display properties on nvidia panel- use advanced settings (take me there)

go to vysnc & either disable or enable it

Instead of disabling vsync, why not use it to your advantage?

Get something like refreshlock, and knock up your refresh rate in games (XP defaults to 60hz). I've never been able to play 1.6 without v-sync, the screen-tear is awful.
