Imagine,
You go down to your local software shop and purchase the lastest game.
After a period of around 6 months or so you have reinstalled the game several times, due to uprades, fresh installs etc.
You get a knock at the door,
Its your friendly software shop owner, demanding you the give the game back because your not allowed to play it anymore cos you have installed it too many times on your computer.
Sounds like it coundnt happen ??

EA GAMES downloader wont let me download euro force anymore because of the above reason.

I have sent them an email but dont expect much help.

I paid good money for this add on, as i know we all have.

Has this happened to anyone else ????

Just thought id warn you all.

Reading your title I thought you meant old EA games that where good. After reading the thread no I haven’t had that problem. First because I don’t install windows often and secondly because I leave games installed until I am so bored of them I will never play them again.

If I am unsure I am going play it again I leave it installed.

Unlucky is all I can say and anyhow Euro pack so I hear is not that good.

Right let me get this straight, you bought this game from a local game retailer, and you've installed this game a few times on your computer.... but now it won't let you..so the local game retailer knocks on your door to ask for the game back....right someone please explain what has this got to do with the local game retailer, I still don't follow this part.

I've never heard of any such thing happening before...

No No No

He used the shop keeper as an extreme example.

He bought the game on steam,

has re-installed his pc and now steam is saying he doesnt have the right to play the game

The shop keeper thing was an example of whats happend, bit of a weird one but there we go lol.

Yes...Yes thats exactly what happened ;)

And as for the OP, Its wierd that EA are doing that, obviously a lot of software does it to make sure your not giving it out to people, but games, you would have thought with the amount of times you might have to reinstall a game reformat a computer they wouldnt be so stupid as to implement it

Oh well, good luck sorting it mate

what did the shop keeper say, cause i would have thought he wouldnt be able to do anything if hes nothing to do with EA.
They might think your somehow giving illegal copies to ppl by dl onto dvds or something.
