Good online PHP/MySQL tutorials out there?

Had a look at w3schools and working through that but wondered if there were any other good online places/sites to learn php and MySQL as a complete beginner?.

Yeah.

I would have just "Googled" it but I know that there are a load of knowledgeable types here who have came up with a few "gems" as far as links to useful sites go, so I thought I would try asking here and see what popped up.

Tutorials aren't really what you need, the manual at php.net and a project is the best way to learn really. Think of something you want to write, write it, add to it, solve your problems along the way.

I found http://www.tizag.com great for when I was a beginner.

Then the php.net manual is all you will need.
