I know yeah i didnt have a gf last valentines day so i went clubbing in manchester and got hit on by so many birds! they hit on me which is just plain weird lol. Im with a gf now so i am havin a romantic evening at my place, we need to test the springs on the mattres, u know to make sure its sturdy enough and isnt damaging my back when i sleep

The friends i would go out with, all have gf's, and even if they were available to go out, it would never happen, i've been out about 5 times in the last year, and i've nearly been single a year :O. I couldn't really care if it were valentines really, im just using it as an excuse to go out.
I'm working on Valentines Day evening cos otherwise I'd just be sitting at home missing my gf who's off on a school trip.

Yeah, has anyone noticed how hard it is to get a girls attention when you are single, but once you have a gf they all want to go out with you suddenly? this happens a lot to me and they always say " i didnt flirt or go out with you because i was scared you would reject me" but arent i more likely to reject you when i have a gf? some women these days!

I suggest venturing into a Hotel bar, late night. Terribly lonely, foreign, traveling professionals, far far from Home on the most 'romantic' day of the Year. Yeah, recipe for mischief if ever there was one. And logistically very convenient.
