Yeah I was impressed myself, especially as I am not a DIY sort of person.
It was all in the "vision" I had and the preparation....
It was a large sheet of 15mm thick MDF
Secured to the wall on each side just using wodden battens
another piece of 12mm MDF on the left side for extra support as it had a bit of "flex" still in it.
The shaped was then marked out carefully and cut a little too large in case i made any
errors as you can always cut more off.
Once shape was done drilled holes on the right hand side, and using a small sander rounded off the edges so that they are like bowling ball holes.
Placed 2 corner shelves at the back, again from thin MDF just using battons screwed against the wall.
The real pain is painting the MDF, after a lot of research, I found best way was to sand it, then use 3 coats of MDF primer sanding again between each one before applying a good quality "Silk" (smelly type) paint.
No one in a million year would think it was just MDF.
The boards underneath were an after thought, again just thin MDF prepared and painted and drilled with holes to hide all cabling and wires and plugs

and these were just cut to size and hang underneath using hooks.
Most difficult bit was all the lighting, I started with just one set....then it began to grow

and was tedious trying to connect lots of wires into a single choc block !
In all if you get the MDF from someone NOT like Homebase who rip you off, it was like £50-£60 in materials.
Oh and 2 sets of leather effect draws from Wilkos !!
