Well I am about to purchase this spec machine, I want to get the best so it will be futureproof because it is at our holiday house and I don't always want to upgrade etc.
Games/E-mail/Office/Videos etc.

Do I have to get 64 bit? I don't really want it because I would like to use 32-bit apps aswell, most apps are 32bit I use.
That RAM you gave me the link is 2gb? lol

Stickroad, the mobo is ddr2? I would like ddr3 :D

I don't mind having DDR2 motherboard support DDR3 too and getting ddr2 memory.

I am also struggling about SLI because most of these P35 only support crossfire, why not sli????

i don't understand how the crucial ballistix is 4gb? it sais [2x1gb] ? :s
i really dont think i need 4gb anyway, unless it supported in 32bit vista premium. i dont want 64 bit -- too many problems.

btw i dont have 2x500gb hd...

i think the antec 900 is better i have it and it comes with all the fans which is great too, and it has very good temps.
what about cpu cooling? i like zalman heard a lot of good stuff.

this pc is not just for me, but my famiyl really.
i will be building it with a noob and step by step showing him what to do.
i will just get 2gb ram :/

probably will get asus because i want wifi, do they both support ddr3?
i dont need 4gb ram and i want 32bit because some apps dont support 64bit and there are incompatibility issues.
 
yes but i do not need 4gb ram, ok maybe, can you suggest me any? what about 2x2gb modules? any good they are? and i will need a wireless n pci card just in case i wil need to use the pc anywhere else in the house which may be not near the modem and wireless access point.
i will probably take this motherbord and have xp home and premium 32 bit because in future i want to have all apps perfectly working with 32 bit, i just read this:

and made me think a bit and did some researching.
drivers bit is worrying me too.
i dont really care anyway, doesen't make a difference to me.

ok i will probably get that ram suggested earlier, could you please suggest me any P35 motherboard then? ddr2 one, i completely agree with you on when ddr3 becomes bigger, there will be better motherboards aswell.

i will probably dual boot i don't know and don't really care since xp is my favourite os.

can anyone suggest me a good case? i like the 900, but i have one already in another pc, and it is crap to setup. it would be cool to have a new case with good cooling, and can anuyoen suggest me an easy to install cpu cooler for the q6600?
