Can anyone suggest a good(and fairly cheap) place to buy tea online or offline?
Bought White Monkey green tea along with some other black teas from the shop in Covent Garden the other day and loved it. Want to try some more good stuff

Postcard Teas are the guys I use. Superb service, extremely high quality tea and a very wide selection of rare teas.
The guys in the shop just off Bond St are really nice as well, and you can go in there and try the teas themselves (usually free if you buy) or just go in and have a cup of tea.

100% recommended and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Pricey, yes, buy you get what you pay for :) [if you're looking for rarer teas]

this reminds me I was meaning to review some more tea for the Tea drinkers thread revival...

thank's for all the suggestions. Will go check out Postcard Teas shop and will also be ordering some teat from High Teas and maybe Jingtea as well

Yes do. If Tim is helping you (he's bald and usually wears a flat cap) he's a lovely guy and will certainly be able to recommend something you'd like. Also have a look at their downstairs- it's quite cool down there.

I'm not on commission and I don't work for them, but I've had such great experiences there I feel I should bang the drum a bit.

Me too. Had some lovely tea from them. My favourites being the Pre Rain Organic Anji Bai Cha; Dragon Well and Silver Needle.

Silver Needle is lovely I often get it when I go for high tea in London. I would strongly recommend trying Silver Needle OP.

Dragon well is also a very nice tea too.

I buy mine from High Teas and find the selection and quality excellent.

This SFTGFOP1 Darjeeling is just incredible.

Going to check that one out thank you for the suggestion :)
Not had a *really good* darjeeling for a very long time indeed.

That's the tea they serve in Valerie's isn't it? Can't say I've tried their Oolongs and green teas yet but had their breakfast and afternoon and those were not particularly nice I have to say. Next time I'll try their green as I'm sure those are way way better :)
