I've been toying with the move from PC over to Mac for a little while and have been offered a mac pro for £600.00. does it sound a good deal, PC is going to be relegated to gaming only duties. Mac specs are as follows, from doing a little research I think it is a 2006 model? Is this likely to cause any issues with it's age?

Apple Mac Pro 2.00 GHz Quad Xeon (Intel)
Mac OS X
NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT256MB SDRAM
AirPort Extreme
Apple Keyboard & Mighty Mouse
2GB 667 DDR2 FB DIMM ECC- 4x512MB
16x SuperDrive DL (DVD+R DL/DVDRW/CD-RW
250GB Serial ATA 3Gb/s drive @ 7200 rpm

Cheers

Do you need to use it for anything very heavy duty?

The spec is quite weak as far as Mac Pros go (esp. 2GB RAM), but it's still a good price for a nice machine.

You'd want to whack Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6) on it if it's not already.
